These apartments are trash. the management is inconsistant and does not reply to calls or emails. they are infested with roaches and other bugs especially spiders and fleas. when we moved in there were roaches painted to the cabinets. while we lived there we were constantly having leaks in two different units in two different buildings. and i know other people were experiancing the same as the water was being constanly shut off. not to mention the leak in the unit above our first unit that led... to us needing to have to move all of our stuff because the ceiling in our bathroom caved in. every lease our rent was raised anywhere from $80-$100 and there were definately no improvements to my quality of life. my experiance here was nothign short of a constant hassel and the need to baby sit then to get anything done is exhausting and a literal full time job

not worth it
Lived here almost 3 years. These apartments are actual trash. When we moved in we had a huge leak in our water heater that flooded our entire apartment. We called maintenance and were told to wait until morning. The leak got so bad that it was spewing into the apartment next to ours and when the neighbors called the office that’s when management felt it was appropriate to have the leak fixed. Next we had an issue with the apartment above our bathroom leaking water THRU OUR LIGHT FIXTURE every... time the man got in the shower. I contacted management about the leak and was told they would come look at it. They came and basically told me I was tripping because they turned the water on upstairs and “they ddnt hear anything”. A couple more days went by and the water leaking from our light fixture got a little worse so I called the office and after a few attempts thru out the day I told them and they sent maintenance again and again I was told I’m tripping even tho I had video this time. The man upstairs was admitted to the hospital for a while so a few weeks went by and no water leaking. The man’s family came to clean his apartment and while they did that they ran the water in the shower off and on over 3 days leaking into our bathroom so I submitted a 3rd maintenance request and I guess that’s the straw that broke the camels back because our shower ceiling literally just caved in which is alarming but what really got me was the RAT that came from the ceiling which can be seen in one of the videos I uploaded. I then called maintenance to have the rat removed and they acted like they were afraid and basically told me to do it myself so I had to maneuver my whole apartment because the rat got out under the door and catch it myself. When the ceiling caved in I called and emailed the office several times over 2 days. My work hours and their open hours did not line up so I couldn’t just go in so in order to get this issue addressed it took me having to research who is a corporate level employee and then digging to figure out their email address and then emailing them with the main spice creek email along with the property manager ccd on the email to get a call back about this which really whipped the apartment manager into shape and got us taken care of. So they ended up offering us a “renovated unit” to move into for the remainder of our lease. When we moved in I couldn’t help but scoff at their attempt to call that unit renovated… it was the same as our other unit

Very Comfortable
I really enjoy living at Spice Creek. It is very quiet. I needed my disposal repaired and they showed up fixed it the same day I put in the maintenance request. Amazing!! It is clean and everyone in the office is professional and friendly. I recommend these apartments to everyone. The rent is reasonable too!!

LESS YOU'RE DESPERATE PLEASE, PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. THE NOISE ALONE WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY!!! THE APARTMENTS ARE ANTIQUATED!!!
This is the worst living experience I have ever from here!!! First, please don't be fooled by the model. What they show you and what you end up leasing are nothing alike. When I first signed my lease and I asked to view my apartment prior to moving in I was shown an apartment which was not ready at all. The door had been busted off the hinges; there were huge holes in the walls; there were dead roaches everywhere; the floors were filthy and the apartment smelled awful!!! I later learned that an... estranged lover had broken in on his ex-lover and her current boyfriend there. Obviously, I was extremely perturbed by the situation. The manager apologized for the sand offered me a different apartment. I really wanted to rescind my lease, but I was in a desperate situation as I was moving from another city and was scheduled for surgery the next week. So, I accepted. Little did I know this would be one of the worst decisions of my life. I did not have the opportunity to view the apartment until the day I received the keys. Once I expressed my displeasure the manager offered the option to change my lease terms to six months. Before I had the opportunity to do so she was fired and replaced with the current manager who advised me I was stuck with the lease. Every since I moved in it has been nothing but problems.
I have had so many maintenance requests I stopped counting. First, it three weeks for the washer and dryer to be removed. Not to mention a mess was left behind. Secondly, it was the end of August when I moved in and the air conditioning was not working. There was a HUGE hole beneath the bathroom sink with so much filth stuck in it it was ridiculous! Everything is just painted over. There are patched holes in the ceiling and the ceiling leaks in the second bathroom whenever it rains. Lastly, but DEFINITELY not least the noise is unbearable! I hear everything my neighbors upstairs do even when their noise is not excessive. I even hear their cell phone alarm vibrations every morning at 6:45. It sounds as if too many people living up there. Once the tramping noise was so bad I thought the ceiling fan was going to fall. I have filed so many noise complaints with the police department and management that I have given up. Not to mention the noise from the street. There is no peace here. I can never rest. This place is SO antiquated it should be torn down. You hear everything from toilets flushing; showers running; water running and traffic all day and night.
