Westover Oaks

My wife and I with our son resided at Westover Oaks from April 2017-May 2018. Unfortunately due to a long work commute we decided to move. With a recent job change, location, and current apartment lease ending we decided to move back to Westover Oaks!!!! It is easily the best property we lived at from the granite counter tops, to the washer and dryer in unit!!!! 1604, and 151 right down potranco road making it easy to get to Alamo ranch, lacantera, and other entertainment! We came to take a tour and Nicole was very helpful. She showed us the apartment and answered our questions. We ended up signing a lease. It was a pleasant stay. Maintenance was quick and easy. All in all, a quiet and nice place to live.

My husband and I have lived here for a year. We loved the complex in the beginning but it has definitely changed. The floors are so thin it's ridiculous. We can hear the people above us vacuuming and we can map out every where they walk. We spoke to the front office and they emailed them and basically asked them to keep it down. That did absolutely nothing. We tried to switch apartments like they said we can but there was a catch. Nobody should live like this. There is also dog poop all over… which this is the renters fault. If you want to live here, only choose the third floor and step lightly for your neighbors. Be courteous! Read More

This is by far the best apartment complex me or my fiance have ever lived in. They're very polished and finished beautifully, but the personnel are amazing. We live in the two bed/two bath model on the first floor. The rent is reasonable for first floor with hard flooring in all the common areas and wet areas (carpet only in bedrooms and closets). Our unit came with a full sized washer and dryer big enough to fit a king size comforter. We like having the extra storage on the patio too. When we… first moved in and had a few things need repair here and there they came right away and fixed things if not the same day the next day. The maintenance staff is great to talk to. We had our A/C blow a fuse the first few weeks in the apartment (at night) they were there the very next morning to fix it. We love visiting with the leasing staff, especially Bea. She is great and very helpful! They email you most of the time if you've had a package delivered to the office. Parking isn't an issue and we pay $35/month for covered parking, but there is still plenty of open parking for guests and other residents. They even have electric car charging spaces. The complex is primarily military, young professionals, and some young families here and there. A lot of the residents have dogs and we did complain a few times about people not picking up after their dogs, but that was quickly remedied. The dog parks aren't huge, but they are good enough size and always maintained.
We haven't had any major problems and the management/leasing personnel and maintenance team are great. Read More
