The Oaks Apartments

I am writing this to help people not to criticize the APT management :)

Very old place, makes a lot of noise when we walk on the floor (bothering both for you and the tenant under your floor ). The rent looks comparatively less, but at the end you will be charged highly (which sometime equals to two month rent). So if you split your charge month by month and add to the rent it will be same of higher than most the other good apartments nearby. Staffs are not professional and not interested in... hearing the issues in the apartment. You will enjoy the AC trouble frequently in the summer and cannot sleep at all. No one will be there for urgent response. If you stay in the ground floor which is somewhat below the ground level it can be horrible experience. Specially if it rains in the night, you may discover yourself submerged in several inch of water. There is no swimming pool in the apartment, so if you like water activity you may rent a ground level apt.

Good things are: very near to texas state univ. Big open space in front. Distance from the road is close enough to catch a bus but far enough to avoid traffic noise.
