Avenues at Northpointe

I lived at Avenues at Northpointe in Tomball Texas for almost 7 years. If my job had not transfered me I would still be living there. A fantastic location, best kept complex I have ever seen and the staff is best! Very attentive to you needs, respond quickly to request for any type of service and they have a ton of activities all the time for kids and family. I would recommend this location with hesitation as a fantastic location to live.

Love the property it is beautifully landscaped and kept up. Maintenance staff are fast and friendly. Office staff very nice professional and helpful. Great size apartments with a large garage for extra storage space attached to your apartment which you won’t find anywhere else. Last but definitely not least it’s gated!

Definitely not a luxury apartment complex! We are disappointed with the high bill charged for the water, valet trash and bill fee. The monthly bill is processed by an external company name Apex-billing and we are forced to pay close to $5 every month additional charged for bill fee. And valet trash is $33 and for water, there are three different water charges which comes to an expensive water bill. By the way, the valet trash only picks trash and no recycle items!!! Management charge $33 per… month for trash!

In addition, we are having many issues getting maintenance work done in our unit with multiple work request submitted since we moved in and we have to do several follow-ups with the office for a single work request to be completed correctly. It is lack of knowledge, skill and efficiency from the management and maintenance team. Please be aware the apartment management was very irresponsible; the apartment complex installed an one bedroom unit Air Handler (A/C and Heater unit) for our larger two bedroom apartment. It was very, very hot inside the apartment all the time during summer and we paid so much for the electricity bill. The smaller 1gallon A/C unit was running to circulate the air whole day but it was not cooling the area the Living area and Master Bedroom. We complained to the office and maintenance people several times but it took few weeks for them to bring over an outside A/C and Heating Technician to troubleshot and they recommended to change to bigger 2.5 ton Air Handler in the unit. This entire maintenance work caused so much inconvenience to us.

Many of the residents who are living here are also disappointed with the maintenance service. Many of the residents are not planning to renew their lease after it ends. And, we are not planning to renew ours after our lease ends early next year.

The property management has to work on getting the maintenance work complete efficiently with less follow-ups from residents and lower the expenses to attract and keep their residence stay. Read More
