The Cove on 21st

Since moving in over 3 years ago a lot has changed for the better, is there still room for improvement? Of course nothing is ever perfect but they’re doing great at achieving close to it.

This complex is held together by paint and wishful thinking. The cabinets in the kitchen and the bathrooms all have water damage, they're all mismatched, and the kitchen drawers are barely hanging on. They've now put fire extinguishers to be shared by tenants outside of the doors and now it looks like a roach motel. The laundry rooms on the grounds haven't worked in...months. When they evict someone, they pull everything out of the unit that they will replace with new stuff and then just leave… it on the porch. I think there are something like 7 dumpsters on the premises. Can they not have that stuff removed? It just makes the place look even worse than it already is. The rent is going up again and that's probably to pay for the "new" apartments that they are going to have available since the fire. We were asked one time if we would be interested in a carport, but to be quite honest, they need to make proper repairs in the apartments before they start adding stuff. That bathtubs have been painted over at least 5-7 times according to the different layers of paint that flake off when you shower. There are so many reserved parking spaces that people who do not want to pay the extra money for a spot have to park far away from their unit and walk. I wish they would use signs rather than paint the spot so that when the tenant leaves or no longer wants the spot, they can just pull it up and store it or move it to the new spot. There are three spaces close to my apartment that are always empty but they cannot be used because they are reserved...for NO ONE, so I have to walk my groceries and baby from halfway down the parking lot. The complex gate doesn't work, maintenance does the duct tape and bubble gum repairs and they all blame each other for things not being done correctly. Also, the blue doors are really freaking ugly. This place is always trashed! In the past, maintenance lived on property. If that’s still the case, why are the dumpsters always a mess???? My ceiling fan hasn’t been fixed! I put in 3 requests to fix my toilet before they came and did it right. Rules say no BBQ pits but they’re everywhere! The basketball court has 1 goal and the other hasn’t been fixed in AT LEAST 4 years!!

Just moved in it is wonderful I would not definitely recommend
