Residence at Wolfforth

I came and rented an apartment based on it being for seniors.They are now renting to young single men that run the halls late at night they are in and out at all hours this isn’t what we signed up for.They are renting to young families with infants.We have been complaining and have been told they can rent to who they want even if office manger doesn’t agree.We want to know how they can advertise for seniors then rent to single young men that might be twenty and young couples with infants? What… happened to false advertisement.Have checked with all the other senior apartments in the area and was told they didn’t rent to anyone under 55. There isn’t that many senior apartments in the area there are plenty of apartments for families.Have been told they just want to rent apartments so rent to anyone that comes in and applies..It took me two weeks driving here to check on apartment then driving all over Wolfforth trying to find someone to show me the apartments.Finally found someone if they would have had someone here from beginning to show apartments they would have been rented to seniors.But they wait to it was getting close to holidays.Then started to want them rented seniors don’t want to move during holidays several of us have had friends come out to see us to look at apartments and heard about all the problems from people no hot water electric problems sewer problems etc no maintenance no housekeeper .They saw place is filthy.If I was looking for a place now and saw how dirty it is I wouldn’t move here either.
I don’t care how many months free rent they are offering.That is why all these young people are moving in.Have been told that they know it then they will have to evict them.So live it for seniors that pay their rent and don’t move around. Read More

No housekeeper and the place is filthy.No maintenance man.Half the time we don’t have hot water.Plumbing issues.They are renting to young men maybe twenty they are in and out of building all hours .Roaming the halls .We have even had table come up missing.They are offering free rent till March that’s why we are getting all these young people.If they would have had someone here to show apartments from the beginning they would have been full of seniors.It took me two weeks trying to find someone… to show me the apartment several trips to other apartments trying to track someone that could show me the apartments.Kept calling no one answered phone voicemail was always full.There are several of us that that are beginning to fill unsafe.Most of us are unhappy because we thought we were renting a senior building.Where we were among our peers that would have things in common to spend our last years with activities for active seniors.That all has been a lie.Was told they could rent to other ages .Have checked w all the other senior places around to see if they rented to other ages was told no because it was for seniors.It isn’t like they wouldn’t have enough seniors to rent to they just needed to have had someone here when they opened to be able to show them the apartments.Time they finally put someone on property it was holidays.Have been told they no all these young people want pay there rent when free rent is over then they will have to evict them.This isn’t what us seniors signed up for.
