An experience…
I lived here from December 2024-December 2025. I can say that this is possibly the worst place I have ever lived. I’ll break it down
Pros: my apartment inside was nice. Large windows and lots of natural light, the building is next to my favorite coffee shop… that’s about it
Cons:
- the fire alarm in the building went off atleast 2-4 times a week at all times of the day and night.
- The grocery store next door has a BBQ just about every weekend, which I know is not the buildings fault. They... play loud music in the parking lot starting around 8am thur-sun when the weather is nice
- There were multiple times where people would try to follow me into the building (I’d ask if they lived here and to proved proof of it. And they couldn’t )
- Within the first monthish of me living there, the maintenance guy randomly busted my door down while I was asleep (I work nights so I sleep in the day) because he thought unhoused folk were squatting there.
- You can hear EVERYTHING in your apartment. I could hear my neighbor cough. I could feel my downstairs neighbors music all week. I could hear the kids in the hall way running and screaming at all hours of the day.
- Parking is bad. Theres not enough spots for the amount of apartments there and the street parking is basically nonexistent. Considering how sketchy the neighborhood is, you’d think they have better parking. There were also multiple instances where maintenance was cutting wood in front of the only exit to the parking garage & the office workers suggested 2 just try & fit my car between the very small walk way by the building entrance (which I refuse)
- It gets so hot in the summer time. the air conditioner will not turn on! I asked maintenance about it & they said that it wasn’t hot enough outside to trigger the AC to turn on but there were multiple days that it was 85 in my unit before I went & just got a portable AC unit so my cat wouldn’t die.
- Electric keyless entrance to the front door of your unit and no other locks inside. So dangerous again ESPECIALLY FOR THIS NEIGHBORHOOD!!
- Multiple times there were used drugs in the halls and stair wells as well as the hallways regularly being tagged by the local gangs.
I could keep going but those are my big complaints…. rent at your own risk… the management and the lease were cut and dry but the building and environment was very sketch with little to nothing being done about it.
