Wilshire Place

My family and I have grown up in this community. We have lived here for 12 years, going on 13. It's safe and quiet. There are so many beautiful amenities and it's a wonderful property. The office personnel are attentive and kind. Alix and Alisha are wonderful and caring. Work orders (if ever needed) are quick and timely. Highly recommend for your new home. Our townhouse is perfect and we have experience in this community.

I would not recommend this apartment complex based on my experience. While the location is convenient, the overall management and maintenance standards fall well below expectations.

Maintenance requests are either delayed significantly or left unresolved altogether. When repairs are completed, the workmanship is often subpar, leading to recurring issues. Communication from the management office is inconsistent, and responses to emails or calls are frequently slow or unhelpful.

Additionally,... cleanliness in common areas is not maintained at an acceptable standard. Hallways and shared facilities are often dirty, and basic upkeep appears to be neglected. Noise levels are also a concern, as sound insulation between units is poor.

Given the rental rates being charged, tenants should reasonably expect better service, responsiveness, and overall living conditions. Unfortunately, this property does not meet those expectations. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience.

I’ve fallen on hard times recently and went to the front office to ask about my options for getting out of my lease early, as I only have two months remaining. Instead of being met with understanding or guidance, I was treated harshly and without compassion. The interaction felt unkind and unnecessarily cruel during an already difficult time.

Over the year I’ve lived here, I’ve noticed a significant change in the... atmosphere of this community. When I first moved in, it felt like the owner truly saw potential in the property and cared about building something special. There was a sense of pride and positivity that made this place stand out from others.

Unfortunately, that feeling has faded. The management style now feels overly strict and punitive. Residents are fined and threatened over minor issues, like how balconies are arranged or other small matters. Many neighbors I’ve spoken with have also grown frustrated and disappointed.

Please don’t rent here look somewhere else. These apts charge for parking and when you visit you can’t park anywhere beside a designated area and there’s no signs that say that and will literally tow your car and have to pay $400 dollars to get it out. Everything is super outdated as well. I don’t recommend we only lived there for one year we were crazyyy to move out

The staff for me wins me over. Whenever I have a problem they always find a solution. Besides that, the area is quiet and my neighbor is nice. I love the gatherings the office puts together.
