Quinton Arms

The apartments are older (70's), but are well maintained and up to date (last 10 yrs) when it comes to amenities. Kitchens include refrigerator, microwave, oven with stovetop, and dishwasher. All apartments received new Air conditioners in June. The most out of date thing in my building is the elevator, but it works fine (just looks old).

Apartments are cable and high speed internet capable (Verizon and Comcast). All apartments come with 1 parking space.

Best perk is that utilities (water... and electric) are included since the buildings were built with government funding. The apartments are an 8 min walk from the Ballston metro, giving convenient access to most of DC and the surrounding areas.

Personally I am very glad I found my apartment. I was looking at more costly apartments in the same area (which didn't include utilities) and was not a fan of the style of the building at first glance. The two apartment buildings that make up the complex are reddish brown brick and look old. The interiors are relatively plain, and you won't find ornate or "modern" style here, but if you are looking for a more than reasonable rent and surprisingly roomy apartments then strongly consider Quinton Arms Apartments.
