Carriage Hill Apartments

We’ve lived here for 2 years and our first year was great! No issues for the most part besides typical poor communication with management. We also live at the very end of the street with a dead end. However, in the last year, crime has soared. We have package thieves patrolling constantly. Cars are broken into at least once a week. Our front door handle has been checked 3 times in the last month. Police are completely useless and management couldn’t care less. We feel completely unsafe here and... can’t wait to move. Just a couple nights ago, thieves came back with firearms and checking car doors.

Like I said before, overall, it’s not the worst area in town, however, for the price we are paying, it is a total rip off given the crime. You’re better off paying less somewhere else. Management isn’t bad but has generally been pretty slow and uncommunicative. Often it takes several phone calls or visits to the office to get questions answered or issues resolved. The apartment complex was very pretty, and the apartment we rented was huge, though the allocation of space was rather odd. The master bedroom was huge, though oddly shaped, and the living/dining room area was rather small. Tons of closet space, though, which was lovely. We had an apartment in the back looking out of the trees, and it was downstairs, which made it feel very private. Close to shopping and easy to get in and out of. Plenty of parking space.

I was not greeted or treated in a many in which a staff member of a complex should treat a customer.
