Management Doesn’t Solve Problems—Be Prepared for Frustration
Elevators:
- Frequently malfunctioning or out of service for long periods (e.g., a month).
- Concierge/management responses are consistently unhelpful (“put it in the system as a ticket”), with no real resolution.
Construction on the Block:
- Occupies large portions of roads and sidewalks, causing safety and accessibility issues.
- Leads to increased traffic and hazards near the building.
Detached Garage:
- Persistent smell of marijuana at night.
- Extremely dirty and poorly maintained... .
- Occasional hazards, such as piles of dog waste left for days in high-traffic areas.
- Construction workers park there and drive recklessly.
- City road repaving pulls smells into apartments, making units uncomfortable or uninhabitable at times.
Management / Staff:
- Complicated system where no one takes responsibility.
- Issues are repeatedly logged but rarely addressed or resolved.
- Staff responses can feel dismissive or unprofessional.
