Riverwoods Apartments of Fredericksburg

Every year our rent goes up 100 and no we don't live in one of the updated nicer units. Our unit is rundown, old appliances, white paint over dust and bugs. When we first moved in the apartment was not properly cleaned. Old food was behind all of the appliances, the dishwasher was covered in bits of food on the inside, there were stains on the cabinets I had to clean off, random nails in the walls and cabinets I had to remove with a hammer, the knobs were covered in grime that took an hour to... rub off. This year our oven lit on fire and all they did was replace a small part of the stovetop. I don't use the dishwasher because to be honest it seems like a health hazard. They put posters up on all the buildings asking for 5 star reviews on here so I'm going to be the one person to put an honest review. Did I mention first few months we moved in the garbage disposal broke and flooded the kitchen. Then after fixing it they used our new kitchen towels to soak up the water and then left them on the kitchen sink for me to clean up. Read More

Manager and Assistant Manager are very kind and talented people.

I have been living at Riverwoods for about 3 years now. I truly enjoy it here. I have a 6 year old who loves it here as well. Our apartment is clean and spacious. I love the appliances and flooring. If I happen to have an issue, maintenance responds in a timely manner. The front office staff is extremely friendly. The property manager responds to inquiries very quickly whether it is via email or phone. The complex itself is clean. The greenery around is beautiful. When I look out my glass door... on my patio it opens up to a nice spacious grassy area and trees. I love playing out there with my son. We see deer and everything. The playground is okay. I personally would love to see a little more to it, but it is okay. My son does enjoy it and will play with his friend. The pool is very refreshing. The fitness room may be on the smaller side but the complex is not huge and it works for us. My son and I both enjoy the treadmill. The location is perfect. I am close to everything. 15 min in any direction I can get anywhere I need to go. Being so close to I95 is fantastic as my commute to Fairfax is already long enough. The management and staff are wonderful! Clean and safe environment. Great location! Amenities are always in working order. Great place to live!

The apartments here have mold in them. It is also hard to get them to fix anything there. They like to tell you the night before they want to come into the apartment and with a dog that makes it hard if my Fiance or I am working. The managers also have lied to me on multiple occasions and have no problem towing the vehicles that belong to the people that are paying rent there. I have told many people that have asked me about this place that I DO NOT recommend this for even someone I don't like.
