Belmont at Freemason

Sold the 4 bedroom house in the burbs and moved into the city 3 months ago. All I can say is WOW! Should have made the move years ago. Love living at the Belmont at Freemason. The building is clean, quiet and all the residents are friendly. The entire staff made the transition easy and they have been great since the move-in. Rarely use the car anymore, walk to work, shopping, restaurants, museums and events downtown. Don't wait, call Monica or Bernard today.

This apartment is really good! The office & Maintenance staff are wonderful and very helpful. Walking distance from everything and also close to the train(tide). Only thing we don't like is parking in the garage, it makes getting groceries home a hassle. But parking is the same in any apartment downtown.

Pros:
I found that Belmont had beautiful apartments (bigger than a lot of places downtown with nice finishes) but that might be because they're only barely downtown. They aren't as close to the fun things downtown as I would like them to be. In fact, the only place I walked regularly to was the gym and the light rail (both of which are VERY conveniently located). If that's all you want then maybe it'll work for you!
Also, the parking situation was very nice. You only share the garage with the... people at the YMCA so parking availability is pretty stable. There's also free parking around which is very convenient for when you have guests over.

Cons:
The amenities were almost nonexistent. The gym was a joke. Really just a closet.
The office staff are really nice while signing you up for an apartment and after that they tend to be very strict and not warm at all. Read More
