Management doesn't care about you once you sign your lease. I have lived here 2 years and while they have jacked up the rental price each year they won't get the trash compactor (shared by all tenants) fixed. They say it isn't broken but trash continues to pile up around and they expect you to take your garbage back home and store it there when it is full. Lived here for 1 year and honestly have nothing but good things to say about management and staff. Maintenance was super quick when I had problems with my bathroom, management reimbursed me for groceries when the power went out in my apartment, and I always felt well taken care of. If anyone has had problems with this apartment it must be you because they were exceptional all of the time. Highly recommend.

I moved to VA for an 18 month assignment. I wanted to live close to the army base so I chose to stay at Acqua. When signing the lease, I found out they have additional fees for everything. I felt obligated to take pics of everything I found to make sure I wouldn’t have charges when I moved out. After @ 2 weeks of being there mold started coming out of the facet in the bathroom sink. Mod continuously grew in the bathroom. Water leaks started to show around the master bedroom light socket. Dog... poop was EVERYWHERE!! No parking, trash in the parking lot. The trash disposal is ALWAYS overflowing! It stinks terribly! Baby diapers on the ground! The car wash doesn’t work. The only good thing is they have a gym and they are very close to base. I use to have a cleaning service and cleaned the apartment very well before I left. They was going to return my deposit but wanted me to have a receipt showing I had the apt professionally cleaned. I was ok with having the carpet cleaned for $80 but the apt was in better condition when I left than when I moved in. I have a video and would love to upload it but I can’t on this site. These ppl are all about money. That’s the only time you can get in contact with their rude behinds is you are talking about money. Fortunately for me I was doing well financially. I know everyone loves Wi-Fi and when it's bad... Whoooooeee it gets frustrating. Customer satisfaction doesn't matter very much in terms of Wi-Fi for the owners of Acqua. There have been complaints since this place was established about the Internet and they still haven't done something about how awful the setup is. They have Verizon Fios connected between each individual complex but they split the bandwidth between all the users in it... LOL. So the max download is 10 Mbps and the max upload is... 3 Mbps. That's not that bad but when it disconnects it stays disconnected for awhile, and you can't do anything but wait. If you have a family, the download speed is terrible when everyone is trying to do something at once. Especially playing video games online, forget about that (1 bar all day). I would be fine with this internet service if I could upgrade or switch to another provider, but I've already asked and you can't do anything to upgrade or switch internet providers. Just trying to get the message out to the people that like quality internet. I have to say everything else here is up to high standards and could be high standards for years to come. Moved in in October there is so much rif raf here customer Serv sucks tenants are soo disrespectful loud music dogs barking all night weed smoking in the breezeway property looks nice but don't make a 12 mo mistake by renting here
