Not Worth it
I lived in apartment 7D from August 2024 to September 2025, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. The first thing I noticed when moving in was mold all over the laundry room, caused by poor ventilation that traps moisture every time the dryer runs. There were also stains on the wood floors and musty odors that lingered even after a so-called “deep clean” by maintenance.
The elevator situation was a nightmare. There are three elevators in the building. The first elevator, which was the... only one initially working, was planned to be converted into a service-only elevator. The other two were supposed to be fixed up for resident use, but repairs didn’t even start until the old elevator finally broke down—leaving the entire building with no working elevators for about a month. Eventually, only one of the two new elevators was repaired, but it was smaller than the original and frequently broke down as well, making daily life and moving out extremely difficult. During that time, I regularly had to carry groceries up seven flights of stairs, and I even saw residents physically carry a handicapped neighbor down because there was simply no other way out.
To make matters worse, there’s no dedicated parking for the building. I often had to park six blocks away, which was incredibly inconvenient—especially in bad weather or when carrying items to and from the apartment.
This building is poorly maintained, badly managed, and unnecessarily difficult to live in. Between the mold, unreliable elevators, and parking headaches, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
