District Vue

District Vue is the best non smoking apartment complex that accepts pets in Roanoke! Not only are the accomodations excellent but the staff are excellent as well, especially Kevin, Mariah and Sidney! I highly recommend District Vue to anyone interested!

Beautiful apartments! I love the view of the mountains and the convenience of being so close to everything in Roanoke. My friends and family love visiting me and rave about all of the great amenities. I had a lot of respect about this apartment and my stay was OK if not best but the real issue started after we move out.. I paid $3k as a lease breakage and I noticed in final settlement, District vue sent me a balance of $526 as urine stain underneath the carpet. I don't have any infant in my home neither have any pet. My daughter is 10 and she knows where to go for toilet. Even after repetitively explaining them, no one is ready to hear and making me pay the amount. I admit that after speaking… with the higher management, they are offering me to pay half the money but my question is WHY? Carpet stain which was underneath the carpet and no once can notice/know exactly what caused that stain!!!! I mean, If I could pay $3k during move out, then paying $526 is not a big deal for me but why should I? And strange part is, how could my carpets have urine stain when I never had any pet not have any infant at my home? I mean why should I pay for something that was not caused/done by me/my family? Last year (March 2021), our old apartment complex attempted to raise rent by $130 per month. That was crazy, so we started looking for alternatives.

Enter District Vue. Their manager Kevin was very nice and he expressed *shock* that the apartment complex would attempt to raise rent by THAT MUCH in a single year. It wasn't fun, but we packed up our stuff and moved on over to District Vue. They are lovely apartments, really!

Unfortunately, when something seems too good to be true, it is. Less… than a year into our stay at District Vue, we just received our renewal offer. (March 2022)

Try this on for size: An EIGHTEEN percent rent increase. That's a $262 per month rent INCREASE over our current lease.

Does Blue Ridge Companies think Roanoke, VA is a big city? Their management obviously doesn't live here. Their old rates were already high considering the incomes families around here tend to bring in, even for a luxury* apartment.

The best part? The same manager who convinced us to move in and thought a $130 per month increase was crazy now says there's nothing he can do about an increase more than DOUBLE that.
