I am impressed by the tour I took. the office staff was very knowledgeable. Shazia and Tianna helped me understand all the requirements and gave me a tour of the model and amenities. I need to move in ASAP but there aint an aparment right now on top floor... They showed me where the bus stop would be and the building that will be available at later time. I told them if i didnt find anything by that day I definitely would apply. The service was outstanding and I would like to live somewhere... knowing the staff cared about the residents! To start with some positives, I have not experienced a lot of the negatives that other reviews have mentioned. My building and apartment are clean, all of the appliances work perfectly, and the management was incredibly responsive to an issue I had with my mail box.

The big downside however is that the other reviews here mentioning noise definitely aren't exaggerating. Paper thin walls and floors to the point that it cancels out all of the positives of this place. Your neighbor's conversations,... TV/music, and movement are all completely audible. You really can't even hear yourself think at times. I've had to buy ear plugs and fans just to be able to sleep.

If you really must live here, at least pick an apartment on the top floor so that you don't have to hear every single step from the people above you... Read More

Hvac system is terrible. next to a train station that super loud. management causes problems to tenants and expect us to deal with it. save your time and money and look elsewhere.

We are current tenants and we had applied for a 3 bedroom apartment 2 months ago and was accepted with our down payments in the matter of a week. We were supposed to be moving in by by JUNE 1st but due to the current tenants we were not able to move in. I can be understanding for certain situations. But what I am furious about is that the Management never came forth to us to let us know of the situation till a little less than week before move in date. We had our brother who came from New York... with his 3 year old daughter to come live with us. We are forced to pay for a storage unit and live in a fire hazard where the apartment was not made for this many people to live in. We are going near the end of the month with still no acknowledgement of when or if we will get this apartment(Even though we were already accepted). We have set appointments with Kevin (Manager) and he has either failed to show up or communicate with us. The best way to talk to him is if you just show up and catch him unexpectedly. Best to save your money and time and look elsewhere. The apartment management does not care for the tenants problems that they caused or failed to warn about. They need to hire a new manager for the office here. If I could give a negative star that would of been my first choice. Read More

I was looking to move out of New York, and was in town visiting my daughter, who is a renter in the complex. I have always liked the peace, quiet and friendliness of the tenants I met, and decided to make an appointment to take a tour. I completed an application and was approved for an apartment back in March 2021. I was set to move in June 1st, but unfortunately, my circumstances changed, and I was not able to move. Throughout the whole process, from the application to approval, the guidance,... the respect, and the understanding I received, was top notch. I especially want to thank Jeiser, who answered every question and concern I had, with patience. He is so knowledgeable and worked with me every step of the way. I am currently working to resolve my circumstances, and will definitely be going back to Lerner Springfield Square. My apartment is waiting for me!!! Read More
