I have lived here for two years and the number one take away for me has always been management. I’m an easy to work with person, and I try to find that spirit in others. Ms. Dawn and the staff that help run the neighborhood are consistently kind and will help you with what you are needing to the best of their abilities. I have had many life problems that have thrown wrenches into what should have been normal months, normal weeks, nothing special. Property Management gave me a clear understanding... as to what they can assist with, what is understandable, and what they have to say no to. Never once was it ever unfair. I have been consistently surprised with how willing they are to make sure the tenants are happy, and that they can keep staying tenants.

Harbor Inn Apartments gave me new expectations of what a landlord or management needs to do to be considered caring and attentive. They are friendly and never make you feel unwanted, even when you just stop by the office to say hello.as long as you go in with a positive attitude and a understanding of boundaries, it’s a very positive experience. Some people don’t have the respect needed to talk to management, and I have seen it plenty of times. You are only going to get the best they have to offer if you come to them with mutual respect. I lived there for 2 years, and it was painful. The living conditions were deplorable, durning the summer we had a horrible roach infestation issue and the units had to be professionally sprayed every week. While living there the parking lot was always full, we didn't have any parking spaces for our guest. A tow truck would tow away several cars of tenants every week and also around the first of every month(inspection stickers). But some people were immune to being towed for some obvious reasons.... The kids there are disrespectful and the adults are worse. The people who work in the rental office are not professional at all and they are not honest. The water bill is outrageous because it's based on a total of the community and divided unfairly. Cox cable has a monopoly here. You can't have any other form of cable, phone, television or internet service. They don't clean regularly around the complex and upkeep is nonexistent. Water from the sewer lines pool up near the PLAY GROUND anytime there is a decent rain, and the kids love playing in that disgusting water. The tenants don't bother to put trash in the three dumpsters that are provided. I've dealt with a lot when renting in the past,but I this place had me putting up with some unreasonable realities. Save your money. It may seem cheap initially, but the water bill will compensate for what you think you are saving and the conditions are not worth it. When we finally had enough and moved out, we cleaned the place spotless as we always do and had the carpet cleaned professionally... i am about to move here and i am kind of nervous because of the comments that are listed i believe they showed me the display apartment and i dont think the apartment i am moving too will look anywhere as nice as that one that was showed. i will not move in and sign a lease until i see the place i will be living in. if anyone would like to give me some advice if you have lived in the complex please feel free to let me know the 411. thank you enjoy your day.

These apartments are definitely NOT smoke-free and there is NO pool. I enjoyed living here but the kind of ignorant, loud neighbors that have moved in is the reason I will not be renewing my lease. Unfortunate.

Simply put, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately i don't think raising my son is conducive in this environment. Hopefully with the help of apartments.com I can find the perfect place for my family.
