RUN AWAY! LITERALLY!
If you are considering moving to this place, especially if you are military, do yourself a favor and RUN the other way. This has been one of the worst apartment experiences I have ever seen. Everything about this complex feels moneyhungry, poorly managed, and completely disrespectful to tenants. First of all, the apartments are ridiculously small for the price they charge. For the amount of rent they expect you to pay, you could easily find much nicer apartments with better amenities somewhere... else. The units are outdated and poorly maintained fixtures look worn down and cheap. They don’t provide basic things that many complexes include, like microwaves or ceiling fans, and the buildings don’t have elevators, which makes moving and everyday life unnecessarily difficult. The maintenance response time is terrible. Requests sit forever before anyone shows up, if they show up at all. On top of that, there have been multiple incidents of cars being broken into in the parking lot—windows shattered and vehicles vandalized. Security is clearly not a priority here, which makes residents feel unsafe. Another huge issue is how unprofessional and rude the leasing office staff can be. Instead of helping tenants, they come across as dismissive and focused only on squeezing as much money out of people as possible. And speaking of money—this place is full of random fees. They charge $15 for visitor passes, which is ridiculous. There are extra charges for all kinds of things that should honestly just be part of normal apartment living. The most frustrating part is how unfriendly they are toward military members. Even with military orders, they make people jump through hoops and still try to keep them locked into leases for as long as possible. My friend was told they couldn’t get out despite having orders, which is completely unreasonable and shows exactly where their priorities are: money, not people. To make matters worse, there have been roach issues, which is the last thing anyone wants to deal with when paying the kind of rent they charge. Overall, the entire place feels run-down, poorly managed, and focused only on collecting fees and rent rather than providing a decent place to live. If you value your money, your peace of mind, and basic living standards, you should seriously look somewhere else. There are far better apartments in the area that actually respect their tenants.
Military members especially: please steer clear of this place.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your experience, and I would truly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so I can better understand your concerns. I was unable to locate your information... in our system, so I’m not able to verify your unit style or history, but I’m happy to assist once I can identify your account. We do offer upgraded Diamond units that include additional features such as microwaves. While our community does not have elevators, we also do not advertise or show any apartment homes that would indicate elevator access, as we want expectations to be clear prior to move-in. Regarding maintenance, some repairs can experience delays when parts need to be ordered or when suppliers are backlogged. Our team completes requests in the order they are received in accordance with Fair Housing guidelines, with priority given to emergency or high-severity issues. Our goal is always to address each ticket within 24–48 hours whenever possible. Visitor parking passes are also outlined in the lease in several sections, and the $5 daily pass fee applies to all visitors to help ensure parking availability and accountability within the community. We value and appreciate our military residents, and we strictly follow the SCRA and the military clause in the lease. If there is any confusion or if you’d like a detailed explanation, I would be more than happy to walk through it with you. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at runawaybay@harborgroupmanagement.com so we can discuss your concerns further. Your feedback is important, and I’d like to ensure we address everything thoroughly.
