Willow Tree Grove

I submitted my application on a Friday evening and received a rejection notification on Monday morning, prior to the office opening. This occurred despite being informed that the screening process typically requires three weeks, with the possibility of completion in one to two weeks. During the property tour, the representative repeatedly suggested that my application would likely be denied, but that an appeal option would be available. I found this unusual, particularly as I had informed him of... my impeccable 15-year rental history. Upon visiting the office, I requested to speak with a manager to discuss a rapid rehousing program I am involved with. However, the manager declined to meet with me directly, instead instructing the representative to request documentation proving my participation in the program, while consistently refusing to engage in a direct conversation. I believe this situation may be indicative of racial bias.

My husband and I have two young children and we have enjoyed living at Willow Tree Grove Apartments for about a year and a half. The community is friendly. There is a nice walking trail close by to walk our dog, and the kids love using the pool, and indoor basketball court. The management has always been super nice and all maintenance request have been solved in a timely manner. We are happily engaged.

When we first found these apartments they were a life saver for the same cost of a cramped 2 bedroom apartment we were able to move into a 4 bedroom! The rooms are huge and you have access to a pool, tanning bed, basketball court, and 24 hour exercise area.Also its worth it to mention the stores all within walking distance.

But there are problems to these apartments. Each apartment has only one parking space and this forces families to park their cars in the parking lots of the businesses... nearby. Which then puts them at risk of being towed. The garbage and recycling cans are always overflowing and the smell is indescribable. Another large problem is the number of children and teens who are always outside. They leave food, bikes, and garbage in your parking spot and in the walk ways.

Mostly everybody is friendly though and if you can put up with the cons of the apartments it will be a good fit for you. Read More
