The Lodge at Peasley Canyon

Me and my family rented an apartment at Peasley canyon around pandemic time . Maintenance was no good the trash cans where always full the gate was always broken and they also like to put lease renewals and other paperwork on your door during none business hours and people will steal from your car during the we hours of the morning and there is no parking. . My stove stopped working two times while living there the first time they repaired it the second time maintenance told me to clean it… and never repaired it . Now let's discuss the lease renewal on the door we signed a lease renewal that they placed on the door during none business hours and for some reason before the lease was up someone put another lease renewal on the front door during none business hours .when we didn't respond they voided our year lease that we had signed maybe about for months before this . And changed our rent rate during mid lease and said that we did not have a lease. So due to stress and charlatan tactics we moved out within 30 days of this . We received a close out check , clear balance check . Then sometime last year one of my family members receive a phone contact from Peasley at the canyon saying that we failed to pay 3 plus grand for carpet and apartment wear and tear this was about 22 months after movingout . We ignored it and some how this situation was placed on our credit report which lowered my score by a 129 points . Then about 3 months later it was removed from my credit report. This has been very stressful and life changing. Please keep all documents and have a camera at your front door if you rent hear you will thank me later . And to the people at Peasley canyon doing that fraud in the main office your time is limited. Read More

Managements communication skills are unskilled, and inconsistent. Parking is atrocious and unreliable often times having to park a block away. Safety and security are nonexistent. Rules are arbitrary and dealt with and reliably. The worst over all experience in renting an apartment in my life, across 3 states and multiple companies.

The new crew is amazing. It’s always clean and they respond to my work orders incredibly fast.

I am a current resident and I initially loved this place because of its location. However, because of how bad the management staff is, it’s not even worth it.

1. Office staff sucks! No offense but they seriously do.

2. Like what everyone says, parking is a nightmare. Even getting a reserved spot took me 6 months. The worst thing is, you get tenants that would park for more than the allotted time on an open parking spot. The staff, does not check the parking lot at all.

3. Security for… the main part hasn’t been an issue although my car has been broken into twice! Second time around, I don’t have anything in my car other than my registration and manual which got stolen.
They are supposed to have a security doing their rounds but in my 8 months of stay here I have not seen any security at all. There are cars illegally parked but I have not seen anyone get towed.

4. Troubled tenants? I’m not sure with one but I have seen cop cars here almost every month!

The management keeps the place nice and clean but other than that I think they need better customer service and better security for their facility.

I can’t wait to move out of this place after my lease is up and find a safer place to stay. Read More
