This complex is and has been infested with bedbugs for more than a year now,unbeknownst to me until my next door neighbor became heavily infested,and I now have the unfortunate displeasure of their company now,as well..Management is incompetent in many ways,but certainly in dealing with this issue..They wish to rely solely upon the opinion of interstate pest control technicians, which is a field that's only requirements are a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record,and training by... other technicians..No formal education is required to become a pest control technician..I have shown them all physical evidence including bite Mark's on my body,as well as pictures of bedbugs in my bathtub,as they are now crawling out of the drain into my tub,coupled with the evidence they got from the technician that next door is "heavily infested"..The response?? Their technician claims that the only way bedbugs are in my bathtub,is they have been placed there..Seriously??? Accuse me of bringing bedbugs into my own home,subjecting myself to bite and illness purposely?? To loss of my furniture,hours of aggravation and constant laundering costs?? Seriously?? I offered management research studies from Penn State University's Entomology department, declaring that they CAN,IN FACT,travel from apartment to apartment via pipes.Cheryl,the on site manager,REFUSED to even look at it,citing that the pest control technician is more knowledgeable than Penn State University's Entomology department..I would Strongly discourage anyone from renting a unit in this complex..outside of the current pest situation, their incompetence shows in their shoddy repair work and lack of completing repairs in a timely fashion..They are also extremely rude.
