Iliad Apartments

no mold or pests, quiet and respectful neighbors FANTASTIC WINDOWS! super ugly and outdated carpet and wall colors and OOF that bathroom tile needs to go! and very very thin walls but the location is great yes there are houseless folk around (its downtown..) but they're really nice people and respectful when you treat them like humans. One thing this place needs is a bike rack to lock up bikes in the courtyard(which needs renovation as well)

Staff is friendly. Problems are fixed timely (Eric is the best maintenance man). A few pros:
Easy to pay rent online.
Lots of windows and storage.
Not a single spider/ insect problem like my last apartment.
Cute balcony
Very quiet and friendly residents.
Smoke free.
Awesome location.

Cons:
Lots of homeless in the neighborhood ( they also like to dig through the apartments trash bins in the morning)
Wish you could have a cat.
No outlets in the bathroom.
Every Monday night a group of... bagpipers play outside til about 9pm at the church across the street. A first it’s nice, but after a few months it gets annoying.

Tried to call to simply find out about room availability, was cut off multiple times before I could finally ask if they had any 1 bedrooms at all, and then the landlord hung up on me.

The Iliad is a great apartment complex. The management is friendly and so are the residents.

If you're looking at this place keep in mind that it has strict quiet hour rules from 8pm-8am. It also forbids: pets, smoking, candles, incense, parties, and guests staying more than 48 hours.
