Long term tenant here. Since this property changed ownership it has been nothing but downhill. Issues ranging from rampant pest infestations, constant construction, removal of shade producing trees, constant issues with billing, violently unhelpful and rude staff with a high turnover rate, slow response to maintenance requests or messages to the office (if you receive one at all), dirty grounds and buildings and a general disrespect of the tenants. This is far from the luxury living they are… touting online. These buildings are aging rapidly and have many of the fun features of that - ask how often folks are getting stuck in the elevators or them being outright down, or bursting water and sewer lines flooding units. The tenants are basically unionizing and there is a designated city inspector looking at this property, which should tell you all you need to know. I am heartbroken at what this wonderful community has become under the hands of this new management group. Many of the better reviews here are from a raffle that offered a chance at free rent for a review mentioning names. I highly recommend not moving here. What an incredible disappointment. Terrible.

Apartments are landlord specials. So overpainted & repainted you can’t close cabinet doors yet they’ll charge you insane amount in paint & painting costs when you move out.

Laundry only gets more expensive & ridiculous.

Utilities costs are NOT divided correctly. They cannot & will not show how it’s broken down. Why is my water bill the same when I was home all month vs being gone for 3 weeks of a month?

They say pet friendly yet they are removing all the dirt areas for pets &… replacing with big unstable rocks that could injure you or your pet.

They allow theft to be rampant through all buildings.

They increase costs significantly each year, yet living conditions and apartments get worse.

2/4 burners on our stove work consistently. It’s apparently our fault that we don’t take burner out & reconnect it every single time we use it….

THEY DONT CARE ABOUT TENANTS! You are just a $ in their eyes.

Whenever there is a problem, they don’t find a solution or try to make things right, they blame you!

Oh your package was stolen out of the mailroom they haven’t changed the code for in 3 years? That’s your fault for not using Whole Foods drop off locker, not negligence on their part to change the code.

By the way - mail theft has been going on for YEARS! They don’t care - it’s your fault as the tenant.

The property itself is surprisingly spacious for a good price for the area. On the downside, the new management seems to be nickel and diming residents, including making people pay $30 a year to log the information of each pet in the apartment on top of the $45 pet rent per month. Washer and dryer prices have increased twice since I moved in, and is now 2.25 per wash or dry ($4.50 total for 1 wash cycle followed by 1 dry cycle). The local staff are all friendly and helpful but I'm not impressed… with the overall direction management is taking this property. Read More
