Great neighbors, bad laundry facilities, meh management

This building's saving grace is the neighbors. The people who live here are wonderful and very friendly. That said, the rent is just too high for what the property is. The place is fairly old, and many outlets don't work in the units. A lot of the heating vents only work sometimes. Some units are updated, but even then it's basically just coats of paint covering up years of neglect and damage.

One of the most aggravating things is the fact that the laundry facilities barely work despite...
multiple complaints being submitted to management. They are coin operated, and the coin slots get stuck all the time. Sometimes the washers and dryers start mid-cycle, so you have to pay all over again (and that's if you can unstick the coin slots). They really need new machines in there, but the manager/owner is simply too cheap/greedy to update (typical for Seattle though). Basically, if you want awesome neighbors and are cool with either driving to a laundromat every week or losing out on a bunch of money each month trying in vain to do laundry, move here, but if you want a much better bang for your buck, look elsewhere.
