Do not reccomend
From 2021- as of the current year of 2023, there is major construction going on right next door to the property. I was warned about this when I leased, but was not told there would be a full-on demolition to start. It lasted months and shook my unit so hard that my cabinets slid down the wall! The construction is very loud and sometimes there is an awful smoke that smells terrible coming from the construction site. It's hard to keep windows open in the summer for these reasons, but that sucks... because there's no central or portable AC rental options. Virtually no parking on the street because the construction has blocked off the entire left side of the road. The fire alarms go off all the time, as the alarm system is connected in each tower, so when one goes off, they all go off in every unit and hallway. So many times where I've been woken up in the middle of the night to the alarm going off. The property is also not ADA compliant- no elevators on site and all amenities + units are only accessible via up to 5 flights of stairs. The package locker is not very trustworthy. The past 5 times I've used it, it either was delivered but not connected to my account to access or just left outside, which inevitably resulted in it getting stolen. The residents at this property are also not the best to live around- if you're a woman and trying to be neighborly, don't haha. There've been many instances where my male neighbors have made me feel uncomfortable and made inappropriate verbal advances. I've found a resident passed out in a bush before, my bike was stolen from the locked bike storage room on site (most likely by another resident, did not receive any help from management), and I don't feel safe doing my laundry anymore because on a few occasions, I've found someone sleeping in the dark stairwell leading to the laundry room. Rats in the trash room, which makes it kind of scary to take out my garbage. The property has switched management a few times, now with Avenue 5. In my experience, they're by far the worst at communication. Very frustrating. No on-site leasing office which has pros and cons. Maintenance, however, is very responsive, kind, and helpful! Noise from units can only be heard in the bathroom & by the kitchenette, where you can hear your neighbor's cabinets close. I lived on the top floor so I can't speak to noise levels from above neighbors. It's also cheap base rent and fixed rates for utilities, which is amazing.

Don’t do it
If you have another option, don’t move here.
There were at least three squatters in the community kitchen in the year I lived here (and no bathroom for them to use so that was lovely). Emails to the property manager will go unanswered or they will be condescending and won’t do anything. There is always dumped furniture and dog poop out front. Noisy neighbors that don’t keep regular hours. Four washers and dryers for 70+ units, and there is usually at least one machine broken at a time.
If you... are desperate, then fine. If not, don’t do it.
