management does bait and switch Do not lease one of these units without touring that exact unit. My unit wasn’t available for tour when I signed my lease, but management made several promises and reassurances that it would be move-in ready, and up to the standards of the units I toured. It was, instead, worn and dirty and smelly. They are also refusing to make even minor repairs, such as a stuck screen door. This after promising, before the lease was signed, that issues brought to their... attention would be fixed right away. Instead, I’ve had to listen to repeated lectures on just how busy they are managing 150 units and don’t I know fair housing laws? If their team cannot ensure clean and move-in ready apartments for tenants, perhaps they should not be leasing them, rather than trying to gaslight tenants into believing they are being stupid and unreasonable for expecting what they were promised and, imo, are legally supposed to receive.
