Melody Jabooda Apartments

My husband and I moved to Seattle temporarily for school and we could not have picked a better place! We loved team here. Gloria at the front desk was always so kind to us. Larry stole my dogs heart the moment they met. And Ben always made sure we were taken care of. The team here is SPECTACULAR. This building is well taken care of and always clean! The apartment had a great layout and worked perfectly for us. It was a very modern space that looked great with little to no décor (which was huge... for us since we aren't good interior design). I have been living at the Melody for a couple of months and I love it. The amenities are well thought out and the community is diverse, mature, and thoughtful (example: quiet hours are observed). The rooftop views are unbeatable. Moving is always hard and super stressful, but the staff at Melody made it easy from a walk through of the property to filling paperwork before the move in date.

The location is perfect…great food, public transport, and a strong neighborhood that is community focused.... Highly recommend. Read More

All of the staff here are very nice and professional, they always try to assist me with anything I need. I love my unit so much, the design is very modern and new. This apartment complex have a very unique layout! There is a beautiful courtyard on level two which allows all residents to have window access. When needing fresh air I like to walk the court yard and or roof top. The roof top is spectacular, I can’t wait for it to be summer so that I can enjoy it more. There’s a lot of seating areas... and even a few fire places. On the roof top there is also a designated area just for pets. The lobby amenity area is also nice. I love hanging out there with my friends since there is a pool table and complementary coffee! All in all I really recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Seattle! If you work from home, have young kids, or want any semblance of peace, I would not suggest moving here until changes are made by management. We moved into Melody by Jabooda a few months ago and are having a nightmare experience despite reaching out to leasing agents multiple times throughout the last few months. It is impossible to sleep in these units without being woken up during all times of the early morning hours and night with loud bangs and terrible outdated music (please, for the sake... of my ears, let Chris Brown go). Despite the disturbances from other apartments, they won't do anything about this, and yet I'm sure they are still expecting full rent for an apartment I can't even stay in. I wish there were more care given, or at least empathy, to residents, and they were able to hold other occupants accountable to the leasing terms they signed. Until then, again, I suggest not moving here if you value your sanity. Besides the constant disturbances, I've had three packages stolen in this building so far, and I'm not banking on that stopping soon. Stolen packages have become a massive problem here; they now have signs posted by the mailboxes about that. So, while the apartment is nice, the location is okay, and the building itself is well taken care of by the staff, it's just not worth the price if you don't feel comfortable or safe. Read More

These apartments aren’t available until the middle of May 2022 for move in and I’m already obsessed! These units are brand new, spacious and very modern looking. They haven’t finished building the rest of the location yet but you can clearly tell they put in hard work because these apartments look AMAZING and spacious for the price. I hope my application gets accepted because the tour I did already made me feel at home!
