I recently moved in here, and so far, my experience has been very positive. The application process was smooth, and the leasing person was friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I appreciate the modern amenities like the gym and pool, and the grounds are always tidy. I've tried to hold off reviewing here, but it's been a pain from the beginning. I have been here since June 2023, when I moved in, within the first two weeks, all of my cabinets had fallen off because they used too short of screws. No washer in the first week because they forgot to turn my water on. The garbage situation is just AWFUL, there is constantly overflowing trash laying... around, attracting all sorts of squirrels and birds. Speaking of which, birds are nesting in my walls! And the woodpecker bangs on my walls all morning long. I have asked multiple times for help, but they've told me they don't know what to do. I have no fire alarm either despite multiple reports of this. Management has changed three times since I've lived here, and my rent is $600 higher than the people who moved in before me. Make that make sense. Amenities like the gym are only available 9-5 monday to friday, and last summer the pool never opened. It has been left uncovered all winter, so we'll see if it opens this summer. Overall, I ignored a low star review when I moved here, and I deeply regret that. I have lived here for only three months and broke my lease due to mold. I reported my issues to management and nothing was taken care of. I found mold in my apartment and Fran wrote it down on a sticky note. I asked if I could go to another unit and they said they can't guarantee another unit won't have mold. Don't live here.

I have resided at sunset park apartments for almost a year and by far this has been the worst experience! Management has poor communication after they are unable to get back to you in a timely manner they have the worst attitude as if they are not responsible for the poor work ethic and communication of maintenance! my double stack washer/dryer has been out of order due to parts still needing to be ordered …5 in a half month later yet to have a washer and dryer

They have made a home int the attic and putting holes in the ceiling very poor management
