About The Harvard Crest Apartments
The Harvard Crest was built in the early 1900's of old classic brick and marble. The Harvard Crest features extra large studios with a unique large wardrobe closet most tenants use as a bedroom. Many of the kitchens have an old world charm feel with... tiled sinks and original iceboxes converted to cabinets. The Harvard Crest has 34 units of either large studios or one bedrooms. Most units have original hardwood floors.
The Harvard Crest is conveniently located just 1 block away from one of Seattle's richest, most diverse streets; Broadway. Full of colleges, museums, restaurants, and cool hole-in-the-wall shops, you'll find everything you need on Broadway.

Great Olde Building, even better location
I lived here for over 3 years. During that time there were maintenance issues that came up like clogged drains, etc however they were always responded to very quickly. The Management was firm but fair and always kept the building and grounds picked up.
The apartments have so much character and are updated nicely yet keep all the Olde World charm and atmosphere, the old dry ice fridges are a neat touch.
The nicest thing are the Hardwood floors, clearly allot of effort goes into keeping these... nice.
In my opinion the nicest of the old buildings like this in Capital Hill.

Take the good with the bad
For the location, you cannot beat the price. The pros are that the apartments have hardwood floors, crown molding and lots of character. The cons are that the washers and dryers are very old, no garbage disposals and baseboard heating. If you are in the outside of the L shaped building, the streets can get pretty loud.
