River Park Terrace

I’ve only lived here for about 5 months, the entire time I’ve been here the hallways are super noisy, dirty and REEK of marijuana!!! When we moved here my baby was 6 months old, management knew this and still gave us an apartment upstairs from elderly neighbors. (Poor management skills on there end in my opinion!!) Upon doing so I’ve had multiple complaints about dropping weights and screaming children. As I have said before he is an INFANT. We asked to move apartments and we were willing to pay... more and were ignored multiple times. I have put complaints in about the neighbors pounding on the wall at my infant and was ignored multiple times again!! Again he’s an infant I DO NOT own weights he’s learning to walk by the way!! And this has caused my lease to be terminated causing me and my entire family to be at risk for homelessness!! Read More

Was told upon moving in I'd get a parking spot. Waited a year and a half, got three parking tickets because there were no parking spots, complex refused to pay for them. Management is wonderful up until the day you say you're leaving. Good luck getting your deposit back.

Since we haven't lived in an apartment in over 20 years, I was skeptical, but we have found the management team to be very responsive. The apartment was very clean when we moved in. The fridge was old and making noise, and I asked if it could be fixed. The maintenance manager said "we will replace this right away." It was holiday time, so they said I would wait a bit, but we had it the first week of the new year. The pool facilities are also very clean and well maintained, and never... terribly busy, though there are families with children who come, but they are well behaved kids. This is one of the very very few apartment complexes where you would find wood burning fireplaces; not all units have them, but ours does, and it works well. They regularly inspect because they have to, and there probably would never be brand new apartments with same. So---you don't have an added utility cost to use the fireplace as long as you use the glass doors and don't let your house heat up the flu! Residents are quiet and friendly, and, the manager makes pop corn on Fridays in the office.

Since it is a large complex, expect long halls, and stairs if you don't use the elevator, but there is one, but there is underground parking. You won't be able to use the front entrance for your move, so be aware of that. We had a problem with my bank e-transfers and the ownership offices did not charge me late fee for the extra day, when I made a mistake and put the wrong date in for e-transfer of funds. The complex is a bit dated but clean, and an excellent decision for us in its price point. I would definitely recommend these apartments. Read More
