Cedar Lake Apartments

I’ve had a really solid experience living here (since 2017). The apartment is spacious, has an in-unit washer, and comes with a detached garage, which has been super convenient. It’s also relatively quiet overall, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive it is to heat in the winter.

Maintenance has been great to work with. If I submit a request early in the morning, they usually respond the same day, which I really appreciate. The only real downsides are that rent tends to go up... about 20 to 30 dollars each year and there’s no fiber internet at the complex. I’ve lived in a few apartments in different cities and Cedar Lake is by far the nicest, cleanest and attentive. They’re quick to make fixes when needed, and I see their Toonen vehicles out and about every day so I know they’re actually out taking care of their properties and not just collecting rent. Amenities are nice too; the clubhouse is cool and sometimes they put on events. And the fitness center is an added bonus; saves money on a gym membership. I moved here late fall so it was too... cold but this summer I’m really excited to take advantage of the lake! You can go swimming, kayaking and I think fishing. Overall a great place to live. I’ve had a really positive experience living at this apartment community. From the moment I moved in from 2023 till now 2026, the service has been exceptional, and the property management team has been nothing but professional, helpful, and responsive. Any questions or concerns I’ve had were addressed promptly, and communication has always been clear and respectful.

The property itself is well maintained, clean, and cared for, which really shows the effort management puts into making this a... comfortable place to live. It’s reassuring to know that issues are taken seriously and handled efficiently. Management has been easy to work with and the apartment is nice! They are picky about minor rust on vehicles which definitely is difficult in the Midwest, and rent goes up every year. However, overall Cedar Lake apartments are very nice and quiet!!!

Great community to live in, grounds are super well kept and any maintenance issues are fixed quickly. Love all the community events!
