Hidden gem in mke! Great for recent grads
I've been living here for 2 years now, and honestly will probably just find another unit in this building when I want to upgrade! When I first moved in, they had limited amenities. Now they have everything and more when it comes to community spaces and fun amenities. As a recent grad living by herself, it's the perfect place to meet people because of its amazing location and young vibe. Community is great, so walkable, great bars and restaurants nearby. And you can't beat the price with what you... get! I can tell the management team makes efforts to respond quickly and care about their residents. Maintenance responds quickly as well! The only thing I wish was different is the temperature control of the rooms because the windows open upwards, so air doesn't circulate as well, but no complaints otherwise:) 10/10 recommend!

My favorite complex in MKE
Out of everywhere I have lived, Upper East Side, Walker's Point and now here at JVT, I have enjoyed it the most. The price you pay matched with the amenities you have access to is amazing and somewhere you won't find anywhere else in the city. My favorite part is the pool in the summer, it is such a large space where you can relax, swim and hang out. Also, a huge shoutout to the front office staff, they are all so kind and so helpful. I will miss living at JVT and recommend it to everyone I know... .

Loved JVT
I’ve lived at JVT for 4 years and loved my time here. I had a studio for 2 years and then a one-bedroom for 2 years. The units are nice and the view is AMAZING. Underground parking, giant private pool, private gym, helpful staff, and great location in the city. 10 min walk to the lake, 3 min walk to bars on Water. The location and building are safe. JVT is also super pet friendly which is amazing. I would recommend these apartments to anyone living in Milwaukee!

3rd Shift Workers Nightmare and overpriced
If you work 3rd shift don’t move here, I had just got off from a 14 hour shift and maintenance said they needed to do some work and it would take 30 minutes, took them 3 hours and they took cigarette breaks. A different time they were suppose to fix my washing machine and after i waited a month and they never showed up i went to the office to see what was up and maintenance had put it in their “done” pile. Another time maintenance to unclog my tub and they left gunk all in my sink and tub and... used my shower scalp massager to get the gunk off of their tool…Neighbors are inconsiderate and loud.I couldn’t get in the garage bc the waiting list was “too long and we’re not adding anybody to it” so I had to park my car a 7 minute walk away from the building. The air conditioner sucks so when it’s summer time it’s hot in the apartment even with the windows open. I would only recommend this place if you just really for whatever reason wanna stay in inner city Milwaukee.
