FEES on top of FEES on top of FEES

Don't apply here. Rick is a great guy but the company he works for is a joke. The site says the application fee is $15 per person, it's actually $32. You don't get that money back. Even if you are denied. They charge a pet deposit of $300 PLUS $50 a month. They charge a $229 carpet cleaning fee in the beginning. Plus a $999 security deposit AND your first months rent. FEES AFTER FEES AFTER FEES AFTER FEES. Don't move here unless you want to be rushed through the application process and then when… something else comes up you are never given the application fees back. All they want is your money!!

horrible communication

i lived in the metro center location almost 2 years. the property/apartment itself is nice, mostly updated, mostly friendly neighbors.
the landlord is completely horrendous as far as communicating and getting back to phone calls regarding anything. takes weeks, months to finally get a reply.

Nice Apartments, Horrible Property Manager/Land lord

Lived here for a little over a year and was never reminded of renters insurance requirement. They’re now asking for proof after over a year later. Also, they suddenly stopped putting our mail in our mail box. Have not received mail for a few months now, attempted to call property manager, left message and she never called back. Instead they put a VACANT letter in my mail box telling the mail man to not put mail in my box because the unit is vacant and for me to fill out who is currently residing… there & who will be receiving mail. Like what? I pay rent on time, so why is this happening? So many calls and questions unanswered. Unprofessional land lord and property manager. Go rent else where.

The reminder emails you are receiving in regards to renters insurance are not generated from our company. The company that runs your Resident Online Access service offers renters insurance. It is simply a reminder as to how… important renters insurance is to have. Residents can also apply for coverage if needed.
In regards to the mail: We do not put any mail in the mailboxes. That is strictly the United States Postal Service. None of our staff placed a "Vacant Letter" in your mailbox. I would suggest contacting the USPS for help.
We have a customer care line here at our corporate office. Please feel free to contact us at anytime. I can't help but to think we could've answered your questions and helped you prior to you writing this review.
In regards to our staff in Wausau not returning your call; I will handle that personally. We have a policy in place in regards to turn around time for calls.

To future happy renters:

When I first rented this apartment I had just sold my house & needed a place to live until I could find a house. It was supposed to be temporary. I'm still here 6 years later!!!!! I can walk to the post office, restaurant, pharmacy, flower shop, etc. I love the separate entrance, patio, in house washer & dryer, and the warm, cozy, open lay out of the inside living area. I've had comments from my friends as well as casual aquaintances on what a nice apartment it is!!!! I smile & agree.The… grounds are always kept up nice and you could say the whole complex has curb appeal. I'm proud I made the right choice when I rented this apartment!!!!!

Metro Center Apartments

I'm been living in a one bedroom apartment for about 3 years now. I really like having a washer and dryer inside my apartment. Having a nearby garage is great especially on raining and cold days.The office staff has been very helpful and efficient with any concerns I have when I contact them. I'm close to shopping, my work and highways. Overall I'm enjoying living at the Metro Center Apartments in Schofield, Wisconsin.
