Kanawha Village Apartments

I lived in Kanawha Village for 5, nearly 6 years, loved my little 2BR apt. Utilities are unbeatable with the steam heating,(AC is your own window units) the complex pays for gas, water, sewer and garbage, which you must only sit outside the Kitchen door for maintenance to retrieve for you every week. Yes, even on the 3rd floor. They say high speed internet here and did when I lived there but when ask for the complex PW was told it was for office use only so idk...i paid for my own... connection

Pros: Convieniance, super low utility expense, clean, cute apt.'s, bug free (at least I was lucky enogh to live in a pest free building?) If you have ANY repair issue, maintenance is on calll for emergancy repair 24 hrs, and immediately for non emergancies, they are very prompt at fixing anything necc. Many long term tenents, turn over seemed fairly low for size.

CONS: Parking spaces arent assigned to apt. First come first serve. No W&D hookups (4stars not 5) in the apts., having a portable or apt. Size stackable in your apt. Can result in eviction (per 08-12 lease).
THERE IS also a laundry room on site w about 6-8 washers and dryers, (def old, over priced and guessing which is operable this week was alot like flipping a 5.00 coin..sorry no refunds....dryers a buck to see which started and 1.00 which actually started and warmed up, so this laundrey room is def best reserved for the most desperate of circumstance, and lots and lots of quarters....just in case.

Overall: Would and do reccommend, wished many times I had not gave my apt. Up when I did and actively keep an eye out in case my apt. Becomes vacent by chance...so yes I would readily release.

Located in Kanawha City, this apartment is in an amazing spot. Right next to a gas station. It is within walking distance of four different stores and ten plus different eateries. Rent includes everything except electric and cable. Decent sized courtyard and laundry on site.

I love the neighborhood and how close it is to downtown

Apartments are very nice, management is great and quick to react to any problem you may have convenient location.
