The Highlands Luxury Residences

My husband and I lived here for two years (Jan. 2015- Jan. 2017). I can attest to the outrageous move out fees referred to in an earlier review. We were charged over $2,000 in move out fees. $900 of that $2,000 charge was to replace the carpets. There were no egregious stains or smells in the carpet, and it was regularly vacuumed. Prior to moving out, one of the staff members from the complex’s office management did a walk-through with me and agreed that the carpet would be washed after we moved… out but did not need to be replaced. The carpet did show some age (some of the areas were “less fluffy” than others), but this was normal wear and tear of carpet that had lived through multiple tenants, not unique damage done by us during our leasehold. We were very disappointed in the unprincipled practices of this apartment complex and would not recommend it.

Highlands Luxury Apartments offers so much more than just a roof over your head. With a staff that is always friendly, informative, and available, grounds that are well-maintained, clean, and landscaped to provide a homey feel, watchful night-time security, and an ideal location, Alaskans would be hard-pressed to find a development that rivals such a plethora of amenities. Highlands truly provides a place to call home.

Not as shown on their web site. Drug dealing in their parking lot. Facility is in gross disrepair.

Where , I'm living now It's okay, but I'd perfer to have my own spce. There are three rooms , two bathrooms which are not very big, a living room and a kitchen. Our dryer is not working. I live with three more people , so yea not enough space.
