Southwood Apartments

My apartment is in a part of Tuscaloosa that was demolished by a tornado on April 27, 2011. It is one of only a few in my town that exists. Southwood Apartments is its name. It is in the heart of everything. There is shopping at the mall and new outlet mall opening up. The University of Alabama is right down the street from me. Any restaurant you can think of is only 5 minutes away. Beautiful parks to spend the day with family, friends and pets and a gym close by to work out.If I get sick, the... hospital is 5 minutes away also as well as an urgent care center. Finding an apartment in Tuscaloosa is not easy. This is a college town and there are fabulous apartments being built on every corner in early part of town but there is one problem, they all charge by the room, yes by the room!! You could rent 2 rooms and the boogeyman could rent the 3rd one and you all live together. Don't think so. My apartment is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath apartment with a spacious kitchen and dining area, washer and dryer connection, and walk in closets. Sitting right there in plain sight and they don't charge by the room - HALLELUJAH!! Is there a waitlist? You bet there is. People are waiting for someone to move out. I don't plan to any time soon.
