The Bronco Club

Lexi, the property manager, is an amazing person to have as a property manager because she stays on top of everything, ensuring that everyone is having an enjoyable place to unwind after a long day of work/school. After living here for 4 years, Bronco Club has always been price competitive, especially for a townhouse with amenities such as a tanning bed, gym and community pool, compared to majority of your other options in Kalamazoo/Portage area. For these reasons, I will be resigning my lease.

I lived at Bronco Club from August 2024 to August 2025, and it was the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. From day one, living conditions were unacceptable and management was unresponsive. The AC never worked properly, leaving rooms unbearably hot and forcing constant use that caused skyrocketing utility bills. Maintenance dismissed the issue, and management offered excuses and useless portable units, delaying proper repairs until two weeks before lease end. Promised compensation was minimal... and poorly communicated. Staff were rude, dismissive, and blamed tenants. Bronco Club showed zero accountability or empathy. Lexi is always so helpful in the office with anything I need. She is really nice and handles things timely. Great office staff as a whole!

We've lived here for a couple years now and have enjoyed our experience here for the most part. We've had some issues with our neighbors, but the front office has always tried to help. The maintenance team is always great too. Nick(maintenance supervisor) is great. He's knowledgeable, nice, and efficient when he's working. Anytime he comes to fix something, I know it will be fixed correctly and as quickly as he can. I'm happy we found this complex when we moved out here.

I lived there for a year and have a few things to say. This I felt was one of the safest places in the Kalamazoo area to live and they offer a lot of great stuff like pool and gym when covid is not happening. That being said the parking is not that great. Guest parking alone was a hike away from my house which made it suck to have guest over. When it was a busy weekend sometimes we couldn’t even find parking in residence spots for us and we lived there. Maintenance guys are fantastic and super... great to have conversations with but it took forever for us anytime we needed something fixed. For example, I don’t think we had a working dishwasher for at least 6 of the months we lived there which became a hassle. The noise can get super loud but I knew it would when I picked to live there because it’s right by fraternity village and it’s student housing. Personally I don’t think it was worth the value but that might be because I feel like things were handled poorly and they over charge like crazy move out fees. I have wrote an email twice to housing about the fees I have received since leaving and still have yet to hear from the management team.
