The Park At East Ponce Apartments

I vacated my apartment on time and left it clean and undamaged, with photo documentation. My security deposit was never returned. Management stated that the return of the deposit was the responsibility of a parent company and outside their control, despite my lease and payments being with Park at East Ponce.
After allowing ample time to resolve the issue, I did not receive my deposit or a clear resolution. Prospective tenants should proceed with caution.

The leasing agents are such a blessing! All of the ladies are always so pleasant when I stop by. The groundsmen keep the property clean and they are very such appreciated.

Very nice affordable apartments, and the leasing office were very helpful. Ro and Justice were great at communicating and helping to resolve any issues that arose with the move in process.

I’ve lived here for 4 months and it’s been the worst experience. In the beginning, I had to be the one to reach out to the office about my application and paperwork continuously cause they are very unresponsive. This only gets worse when you move in. The PM sends emails out religiously threatening to terminate residents’ leases for infractions. The gate is always broken and people are usually at the gate asking for money at night.

My apartment recently flooded from the one above me and it has... been a horrible experience dealing with the office and maintenance. We continuously had to follow up and request service because no one was coming to repair the damage. Maintenance would say they are coming and not actually show up.

Because they did not take us seriously when it happened, we developed mold on the ceiling. The maintenance team decided to spray paint it white. This raised concerns for me and when we escalated the issue, the maintenance team decided to cut all the ceiling out and has not come back. We now have exposed wood, metal, mold, and insulation in our living room and laundry room.

I asked to waive our termination fee due to the circumstances and they have declined. Supposedly I refused service, but that’s not accurate. Maintenance came without notice when they didn’t arrive the previous day as scheduled. I definitely would advise against moving here. If you do, hopefully nothing happens and you don’t need maintenance or the office for anything because it’s like pulling teeth to get them to do their job. Read More
