Terrible Communication and Zero Accountability
It has been several months since moving out, and we still haven’t received our security deposit or even a basic update. We’ve reached out repeatedly, and every message has been ignored. The lack of communication is shocking — it shouldn’t be this difficult to get a simple response from management.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. Timely communication and basic follow-through should be the minimum standard for any property management team, yet neither has been shown here.... Potential renters should be aware of how difficult it can be to get any accountability after move-out.
This situation has dragged on far longer than it should, and it reflects very poorly on how this place is managed.

Thank you for your feedback. We take the processing of security deposits with the utmost seriousness.
We have a strict protocol: all deposit refunds are issued per the lease agreement and state law. Once a check is placed in the US Mail... system, its delivery timeline is unfortunately outside of our control.
If you believe your check was lost in the mail, we have a clear and immediate solution for you. Please contact our office directly so we can verify your tenancy. Upon confirmation, we can instantly provide you with the specific mailing date of your check and, if necessary, we will gladly initiate a trace and reissue the payment.
We are here to resolve this for you promptly.

The new management team is amazing! Penny, Tania, Scott, Anastasia, Tanishe, and Ariana are great! Jerry takes care of all maintenance issues quick and efficiently! Thank you for the great move in and awesome customer service!

Very Awful Place to Live
I moved out of this complex months ago and was charged $700 for move-out costs with no explanation. I have called and emailed several times over the last few months to ask why and for an itemized bill, but never received a response. I eventually had to contact Avenue 5, their owner, directly. Their billing department sent me photos taken after I moved out. The images show a trashed and dirty apartment, which I did not do. I left the apartment completely spotless with no trash, but they are... basically framing me claiming I left blankets, pillows, shampoo bottles, and trash. It's absolutely insane that they have to do this just to get a couple hundred dollars. Please do not rent here, I never had a pleasant time in the year I lived here. They have a very strict parking system and charge you for guest parking even. Their staff is not friendly - I once got kicked out from using the amenities because they did not believe I was a resident. It's more worth it to spend a little extra to live in a better quality complex than this one.

Paseo is an excellent community with exceptional maintenance services. Our apartment exceeded our expectations when we initially moved in. With proper upkeep, we haven't encountered any issues with roaches.

The proximity to the university and general stores around is a bonus, especially for students.
