Unfriendly Staff and Poor Management
Visited property over two weeks ago. Was shown a "sample" apartment unit. Was pressured by staff to pay $30/person application fee which I did. Was approved. Was also pressured that day to pay deposit ($550) on a unit I had not been shown. I did not pay because I wanted to see the actual unit I would be renting. Called several times over the past two weeks asking to view the unit (previous tenants had moved). Was refused every time with staff giving various excuses; no electricity, hasn't been... cleaned, etc. After several days and excuses I visited the leasing office to inquire about viewing the actual unit I would be putting a $550 deposit toward. I was told I couldn't see it because they wouldn't bother getting it ready until I pay them the $$$. The whole process seemed odd to me and I chose to rent elsewhere.
