This is not a family-friendly environment
Do yourself a favor and avoid living here—even if they offer several months of free rent. The issue isn’t just a $200 fee for something as minor as not pushing chairs back in at the pool area; it’s the overall lack of respect from management(America). (Princess is the one exception—she’s been great.)
Security is a real concern. There’s a bus stop right outside the property, and homeless frequently gather there late into the night—yelling, causing disturbances, and even jumping the fence and... walking through the complex. On top of that, the front gate is often left open or simply not working.
Maintenance is another major disappointment. I’d rate it a 2/10, and that’s only because the maintenance staff themselves are decent—management just doesn’t seem to support timely or proper repairs. For example, our front door has been damaged and doesn’t seal properly, and after three months, it still hasn’t been fixed.
Overall, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I wish I had come across a review like this before signing a lease here.
