New owner. Stay away! They will try to make up fraudulent charges when you move out. They tried to charge me $280 for damage to the bathtub but fortunately i had pictures to show the damage was present when i moved in. They are also trying to charge me $512 for damage to the underside of the carpet. They are citing that I didn't list stains underneath the carpet on the move in inspection as "proof". I rented a 2 bedrm apartment at Edgewood for about 2 years. I had a positive overall experience. The community size is perfect -- not too big and not too small. My neighbors were friendly, and I rarely had any problems with anyone (e.g., arguments, rudeness, robberies/thefts, or solicitors). It is a gated community, which helped me feel secure. There is a small gym and 2 pools plus 2 jacuzzis; they are in good repair. When the weather allowed, I would exercise on the pool patio (yes, it's large)... . There is a pathway that encompasses the community, and if you enjoy walking, it's a great way to exercise. My apartment itself was a little older, but also in good repair. The exterior has the southwest vibe (desert colors), so I liked that. You have all of the appliances that are desirable: washer & dryer, microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher. I had a nice-sized patio to sit on and enjoy the outside -- and my view was quite beautiful as I lived on the 2nd floor. Edgewood offers covered parking, which we need in AZ! There are several major supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants close by, (3-mile radius). Whatever you're hungry for, there's plenty of options to choose from! If you don't drive, no worries, it's on a bus line and Uber and Lyft are often in the neighborhood. The office staff was fairly consistent (wow, IKR?!) and our interactions were consistently professional and courteous. The office would host food drives and resident get-togethers. The clubhouse at the office is nicely appointed and can be used by reservation. You are welcome to come into the office during office hours and have coffee or tea. Our maintenance needs were almost always promptly met. Our rent was reasonably priced for the location (wee love living on the east side!). There was online bill payment, which is such a time-saver!
My primary disappointment is that it is a pet-friendly community (don't get me wrong, I love dogs) so there were a few residents who didn't pick up after their pet, so that was gross ---but that's a reflection of the resident, not the community). Never fear, Edgewood cares about cleanliness! They had maintenance staff that would routinely clean up the yards (very appreciated!). I can't remember a time that the community was left neglected. They have pool techs, and the professional landscapers also visit regularly to keep the plants and grass tidy.

I love living here. 4 years we’ve been here. No problems no issues. Maintenance concerns, addressed in a timely manner… they are friendly and professional the office staff are wonderful always having gatherings and events to join. We have yet to participate minus the Xmas contest but they always have so much more through out the year. It’s a great place to call home …

I have never been so disappointed in the customer service I received as a tenant. After dealing with lack of communication, a mold problem that was never properly resolved, and receiving a $320 cleaning bill when they already took my deposit, let alone 3 months after I moved out, I would NEVER recommend anyone to move into any of their properties.

Our last apt had a major A/C issue during summer. They offered a fully furnished apt for us to be comfortable in while they repaired the A/C. Alison is a wonderful Asst Manager and has never failed us once.
We are in a bigger apt now and we still love this complex. Nice neighbors and extremely pet friendly.

I will continue to recommend Edgewood Apts to my friends and family.
