I love this apartment!
I love living at the Whispering Oaks apartments! I live in a cute little two bedroom with a HUGE awesome great back porch, and the complex is just beautiful - I love all the trees and the little squirrels that run around. There’s a laundry room with a bunch of washers and dryers and we were able to pay a little extra to have two parking spaces! If there is ever a problem (which is rare), the manager is super nice and helpful and a maintenance guy will come to fix the problem right away.... Everybody who lives here is friendly, too, so it’s just a really pleasant place to live :)

Not a family place more for seniors
My stay here was not so bad but it wasn't that great either. The manager doesn't like kids outside playing making noises. Not allowed to ride bikes or any other sort . After only being here 4 months rent was raised $100. Only good thing about this place was the patio/balcony besides that I wouldn't recomend to anyone.

I would like to thank you for the review and would like to take the time to reply. I am sorry that your stay here was not great. Even though I try my best to make everyone happy unfortunately it's impossible. However If I could turn back time I would... try to see what I could do to make it great for you. As for your remark about me not liking our community Kids playing making noises was misunderstood. I love to hear our resident laughing and watching them play it's adorable. However I encourage all resident to practice courtesy for each other. We all work different hours in the days and nights and it importation to provide a home for my residents where they can come home and rest after a hard day at work. For safety reasons I encourage our residents not to scream as if they are being attacked when they are playing because if you scream wolf no one will come and help them if they are really being attacked. I am sorry you misunderstood that. I want to clarify ones residents sign a lease your rent can not be increased so it is impossible for me to increase your rent $100.00 with a signed rental agreement. I hope that you are happy and have peace in you life where you are living now. Thank you ones again for your review. I hope that I was able to clear the misunderstanding. Not a children friendly
The apartment itself is not bad, has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, it also has a very large patio with trees around. There is designated parking but a waiting list for that, no pool and sadly no place for children to play except on the patios. The owner does not like any personal touches to show, and they even suggested people place their welcome mats on the inside of the apartment. To a new tenant the outside looks very welcoming, greenery all around, but not a place to live if you want to make it... very personal, at least where anyone can see. It's affordable considering the prices in the Bay Area, and we have our fur babies here so I guess that makes up for the other things.
