Woodside Apartments

The layout of the apartment complex is great. You are closed (walking distance) to a good grocery store: Coop in Davis. You are also very close to the Downtown Davis where most of the good restaurants are located. If you are a student at UC Davis you are also very close to school too: 6-8 min biking. The exterior of the complex is in high contrast with the interior. If the exterior looks more like an old 2 star motel, the interior was renovated. The kitchen cabinets are the best point of... attraction: they are new and with a very nice design. I like them a lot! The stove is good, there is also a microwave on the top of the stove which is very useful. Unfortunately, they don't have central air condition which is very bad for Davis, especially during the summer. There is only a living room unit that you have to leave open for a couple of hours per day and let the doors from both rooms large opened to allow the cool air to go inside. The bathroom is also very nice and with a cool system of blocking that allows one person to take a shower and to another person to use the restroom. I like this system very much. It seems that living on the second and third floor is better than living on the first floor. I am living on the third floor and I never ever have any problem with roaches like some students living on the first floor mentioned they have. Also, the price are more than decent which makes this place even more attractive. If one can live in a place with an ugly exterior but a nice inside and budget is a constraint I will definitely recommend this place. Read More
