Westwood Apartments

I stayed at Westwood townhomes for a whole year. I will add pictures of what you need to be aware about first off the landlord. Carolyn is nice when you first apply but once you move in, she is very rude. The owner who was actually the maintenance guy does not know how to conduct business. The tall Maintenance guy is actually the owner of the townhomes. You will deal with roaches you will deal with a lot of mode you will deal with carbon monoxide. The place I moved into had remnants of the... previous tenant there they did not clean the place properly in order for me to move in. So the pictures you will be seeing is what I walked into when I was given the keys. You will also see text messages with Me speaking to Carolyn telling her about the mess that was left from the previous tenant which was gross . You will deal with hearing your neighbours noises because walls are very thin. You will hear when they run their shower, and even cough smh. Not a good place at all. You also will be woken up every morning about 5:30 am from the loud birds that have created a habitat in the trees nearby . My I add every time you shower mode will grow no matter how much you ventilate your rooms and home also it is hard to ventilate the rooms and home when it is cold in the winter. You will be given a freezer with no shelf used appliances that literally caused me to get sick with carbon monoxide poisoning because it did not detect CO. There is only three spots for guest parking not to mention you cannot park in the gas parking for two days due to trash pickup, so if you plan on having company just know that there will be no parking for them, they would have to walk half a mile to the apartment just to find parking. will not refund your whole deposit. Also be there during your final walk out because they will lie and add stuff to your apartment that was never there and say that you left it like that. Please keep all receipts and documents. They will also give you a fake receipt that is template generated. Beware of this place I had to contact my lawyer who had to hit them with a lot of civil codes in order for me to get my deposit back , PS the owner does most of the work his self. If you move here, please know all of your laws and know about civil codes. Once they realise that I know my codes and I’m highly educated and they didn’t want to go to small claims court, they agreed to refund me what extra they owed me. Smh Read More
