Bad Experience
Lived here for the past year and would never recommend it to anyone. Fire alarms went off continuously - at least 2-3 times every month there were false alarms necessitating everyone vacate the buildings for upwards of an hour or more. Very disruptive and NEVER resolved. Management did NOTHING to help.

Not worth the money
I need to explain my rating on reliability and responsiveness. When there is an issue with the lack of security or a package is missing, their actual response time is quite fast but It’s always the same answer “ thank you for reaching out, we realize there’s a problem, and if you have a major security concern, call the Long Beach Police Department. Cars are constantly broken into and packages stolen. There is a courtesy security patrol but calling them “security” is a stretch of the imagination.... Residents are charged $100 a month per space, per vehicle. My car has been broken into twice. There are no cameras in the garage and again, “security” patrol can usually be found in the hub eating lunch or in their cars smoking. We are charged for water, gas to heat the water, water waste, trash, and sewage. This is in addition to your actual rent. We are also charged $95 for a technology package that you cannot opt out of. They recently switched to keyless entry; however, the Chirp system isn’t always reliable. In the event you need a fob to get in because it’s not working, you are charged a fee. The elevators and hallways are frequently defecated in by pets, although maintenance will come clean it up. The only plus about living here is that the maintenance department is spot on. I feel management could do more to make this a safer community to live in. Granted, it’s a corporate-owned building, but management should advocate for the residents when it comes to building security. Needless to say, the turnover of residents it’s substantial.

DO NOT MOVE HERE
This is the worst experience I have ever had at an apartment complex.
Their renovations have been an incredible inconvenience to me as a resident. The elevators continually reek of dog pee.
I had an emergency and had to utilize a rental vehicle to get to work. Camden proceeded to tow my vehicle from the garage even though I pay upwards of $100 each month to park there. I asked to receive a few free months of parking just to offset the $300 cost of retrieving my vehicle and was met with... complete resistance from Gilbert the Bookkeeper and Stacy. They were completely unprofessional and have made my overall experience here that much worse. I am in the process of issuing a complaint with Better Business Bureau and pursuing other avenues.
I would not advise anyone with other options to move here.

Thank you for speaking to us previously and allowing us to explain our parking policy. As we mentioned, we must be fair and consistent with anyone who is towed from the garage without a parking permit. It is unfortunate that you parked a... vehicle in the garage without a parking permit. There are parking signs at the entrances of our garage gates as well in multiple locations in the parking garage, and it is also stipulated in your signed lease agreement. We wish we would have been notified in advance that you had a rental car so we could have provided a guest parking pass for you. Our residents are grateful that parking is enforced due to any unauthorized vehicles using the garage.
Our improvements were well addressed prior to your move in of September 2019 and we wish you’ve voiced your concerns prior to this incident. We are now at the tail end of the project and we are looking forward to having one of the best fitness centers in Long Beach, two upgraded pool areas, clubhouse, and The HUB that will feature a kitchenet and conference room. It is going to look amazing!

Avoid like the plague
Absolutely horribly managed property. You'll be forced to pay for internet in your rent that doesn't work forcing you to pay for additional services elsewhere. Security is basically non existent so expect to have your car windows smashed. There's constant construction so you'll also get plenty of noise and dust. Stay away from this place and any Camden property. Camden is a horrible company. They could care less about their residents.

Our Technology Package which is Wifi internet and cable TV has been in place for 2 years and is a really good deal. If any resident shall experience any type of issue, we always encourage calling Spectrum for 24/7 support. Having resources... in place for troubleshooting is available for any utility service and we are happy to have them always available for our residents.
We have always had courtesy patrol and hearing your comment about this is disheartening and not true.
We are so excited for the amazing improvements being made to the community and our residents are too. Every year we invest into the community so we can keep the longevity going. 2019 has been our best year yet for upgrades! New lush landscaping has already been in place at the pool of building 2 and we can’t wait for the rest of the planters to be filled. It’s going to look lovely! We would love to sit down with you so you can see everything we have planned.
