Great rent controlled building in West Hollywood! Huge 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, perfect for roommates. I have lived here for two years with a roommate and we both always have plenty of space. Hardwood floors throughout and lots of storage space. Downsides are the kitchen is smaller (older galley style) and there is only one parking spot per apartment.
Great location, near plenty of restaurants and bars. Quick drive to anything in West Hollywood, Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Our apartment (my girlfriends and mine) certainly has its highs, and its lows. The complex where we live was built in the 50's, and has many of the charming qualities from that era; real hardwood flooring, a galley kitchen complete with aquamarine-colored stove, and two full bathrooms to accompany the two larger than average bedrooms. The not so charming qualities it has is the original air-conditioning unit which effectively cools the three foot radius around the unit, warped flooring which... allows a golfball to roll through three rooms and two corners with one push, and a shared laundry facility which - despite it's $2 price tag per load per machine - makes you question exactly how clean your clothes really are.

It has charm. It has annoyances. But it is home... at least until we find a better place that doesn't break the bank. Read More
