Do not rent here..
We've been leaving here for 13 years and all the new neighbors that have moved in, in the past 5 years have turned our neighborhood upside down, so expect these things:
Meth heads/crack heads fighting at all hours of the night
Gang members
Drug deals
Heavy cigarette smoke
Stealing from cars
Families with lot's of children
Screaming and crying children 24/7
Illegal Mechanic shop in the parking lot
Evangelical church meet up downstairs every week (loud music and sermons at night)
Broken down... infrastructure
Roaches
Complete Mess
No laundry room
Not up to code
Parking lot gate is always broken
Homeless men sleep in the parking lot under cars

Good location, terrible building.
This place is falling apart. It's close to Echo Park and Silverlake which is nice and the entrance to the 101 is a block away. However the building itself is old and dirty. Parking is getting worse due to more people moving in. I would leave if I could in a heartbeat.
