No Follow Through, Poor Communication. OVERALL DISAPOINTED
I have been extremely disappointed with my experience living here. The office staff are generally kind, but kindness does not make up for the consistent lack of follow-through, poor communication, and basic services not being provided.
From the beginning, even the application process was unnecessarily difficult and could not be completed online. Since moving in, nearly every request seems to require multiple follow-ups before anything actually gets done.
Valet trash is one of the most... frustrating examples. I pay for this service, yet my trash is missed constantly—sometimes multiple days in a row. I was told to download another app to report missed pickups. Residents should not have to repeatedly report that a paid service didn't do its basic job.
Common areas are also poorly maintained. Large piles of dog waste have been left near my apartment multiple times, sometimes for weeks. I also emailed management about accumulated leaves and cobwebs in our shared stairway. They responded, but it was never cleaned.
More concerning, maintenance once entered my apartment to fix my hot water heater and left my home UNLOCKED for the remainder of the day. That is completely unacceptable and a serious security concern.
The amenities are another frustration. The pool opened well into summer, closes periodically for maintenance with little or no notice, and closes at 8 p.m. The children's play structure was removed right as school got out. The fitness room also closes without adequate notice, which is incredibly frustrating when you come home expecting to use an amenity you pay for.
Parking is terrible. There is NO guest parking—not even short-term spaces. Street parking fills early, while vehicles without permits are aggressively towed from the property even when numerous spaces are empty.
There are also multiple online portals for the same apartment, making everything unnecessarily complicated.
Most recently, I opted out of RentPlus in writing well before the deadline and was STILL CHARGED. I then had to call and dispute a fee for a service I had explicitly declined.
Any one of these issues might be understandable in isolation. The problem is the pattern: paid services aren't reliably provided, common areas aren't maintained, amenities close without adequate communication, requests require repeated follow-up, and I have now had to dispute an unauthorized fee.
The basic level of management and follow-through should be significantly better.
